Apple recently revealed its latest phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three upgrades to familiar models and the all-new iPhone Air, which is replacing the iPhone Plus. If lining up in a queue on release day isn't your style, and you still need to grab one right away, you will be able to reserve the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone 17 Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, ahead of the September 19 release date.

Aplpe’s iPhone 17 gets a new design with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and narrower edges. And after much anticipation (and a ton of grumbling), the base iPhone 17 finally has a a 120Hz refresh rate.

Internally, Apple’s new A19 chip is more powerful and also more optimized, particularly when teamed up with Apple Intelligence. If you're upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll notice a huge jump in speed and better gaming performance thanks to ProMotion.
Camera wise, you will find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) as well as a 2x telephoto lens. The device’s ultra-wide camera also receives an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography crisper and much more refined.
